Unicorn Gym does Malta – Networking TFC

About the event

Join us as Unicorn Gym goes Malta!

Spend one day with us going over common network scenarios and reference architectures on AWS. You will work as a team to design, build, and troubleshoot a network architecture for a hypothetical customer. Don’t worry, AWS Solution Architects will help you at all times and will clarify any concept. And yes, you will be competing with other teams for glory! 

Previous requirements:

We expect a basic understanding of AWS networking technologies (we will cover services like Amazon VPC, AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Network Firewall, AWS PrivateLink, etc.). However, we will do an initial fundamentals session to review all the services that will be covered in the labs, so feel free to use the session as an opportunity to brush up on your networking skills, or to start your Networking knowledge on AWS.

This content is ideal for network engineers, cloud/solution architects, and DevOps engineers who want to design and implement scalable, efficient, secure, and resilient applications in the cloud, and who want to gain a deeper working knowledge of AWS Networking services.

Welcome & Event Overview

We will start the day with an explanation of the use case that you will have to be solved for our fictitious company, explaining the methodology to follow during the Unicorn Gym. We will also create the teams.

Fundamentals & AWS Network Services

10:00 – 11:00 CEST

Before we get started with the different labs and challenges, we’ll do an overview of the different AWS network services and the common architectures you’ll build. You decide how to carry out this session! We can start with simple concepts, or directly deep dive into some of the services: the idea here is to have the necessary theoretical base so that you feel comfortable during the labs.
